The new person heading up our Boston Public Library should be
knowledgeable about grey literature
http://greynet.org
Of particular concern are government documents of our city that for
too long have been inaccessible. We need to have our public library
able to develop in depth collections of our public city documents.
A a) Mayoral Directive and b) City Council Order are needed for the more
routine transmittal of our public city documents to our public library
so researchers can study our city more effectively. That appears
unlikely to happen.
Now, our BPL Government Documents Department collects city documents
in an on the fly manner leaving gaps in collections that should be
a more complete record documenting our city history.

Although it seems like a rather limited collection, given that there's only one gray book by Smith.

It's literature by aliens. That's why they hide it in Stack 51.
