She pressed the emergency call button at Back Bay station, not in Needham. She didn't even ride through Needham if she got on in Roslindale.

If you get the right train, you can board and then the next conductor will disagree about the rules for bikes at rush hour, make up some of his or her own, and make sure that you are put off at the right stop.
Of course an unfolded stroller that takes up 1 to 3 times as much space as a convetional bike won't get any notice.

It's called the Needham line. Yes, that means it comes through Needham, and stops in Roslindale Square on its way into Boston. My sympathies rest with other Needham commuter line riders. This line is plagued with issues. It is always late coming into Boston, always delayed leaving S. Station. The other night made for an interesting variation on a theme: after a delay in bording, the train left S. Station, traveled for approximately 3 minutes, suddenly screeched to a halt, BACKED UP into the station, and then paused as an Acela train plowed into the station on the track to our left. The kind of thing that makes one all fuzzy inside...
