The Boston Licensing Board decides tomorrow whether to grant a food-serving license to Sandra Russo, who wants to open North End Creamery at 121 Salem St.
Russo formerly ran Lulu's Sweet Shoppe on Parmenter Street, and will sell some sweets to go with the ice cream at her 400-square-foot take-out place, with proposed hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Both of the North End's neighborhood associations support the proposal. At a hearing today, nobody spoke against it.
