Traffic barrel topped by sign reading: CAUTION Falling Ice and snow

Roving UHub photographer Pete Hutchinski reports he was down on Friend Street, looking to pick up some lock cylinders at Benton Locksmiths, when he spotted this sign atop a traffic barrel. "I thought everything would have melted by now!" he muses.

There is still rock salt along some of the platforms. It is around the beams which support the canopy overhead. There is some every year. All through the year. Someone with a broom must be too afraid to get close to it.

Links are better than patties on a plate. Sausage patties are hamburger slider wannabes. There not to bad in a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich though. Links are also better for these sudden summer snow storms. They are easier to eat with gloves.

Ice and snow accumulation have been falling, leading to an increase in erosion and drought.

...OK, maybe it's just the only orange barrel they had on hand.
