Firefighters keep basement fire from consuming wooden Jamaica Plain church

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to the Boylston Church at 207 Amory St. in Jamaica Plain for a basement fire around 3 p.m.

Companies were able to quickly contain the fire and stop it from spreading throughout the church.
