Developer proposes eight condos on two-acre parcel on particularly leafy Jamaica Plain street
A developer says it will soon file plans for eight condos in four buildings at 90 Allandale St. in Jamaica Plain, just up the road apiece from Boston's only free-range Scottish Highland bulls and across from the back of Faulkner Hospital.
In a letter of intent filed with the BPDA, Stefco Builders of Newton says it will raze an the existing single-family home on the site - and will provide two parking spaces for each of the condos on the site, which borders Allandale Woods to its rear.
The proposed site is next to a site where another developer has been trying since 2016 to build condos as well; currently 16 units, including 4 in the existing house on the land.
