The red tailed hawks also made a big return to Downtown Boston back in the early 1980s. No one believed me when I told them I was hearing hawk cries in the early morning while I was working in the Post Office Square garage back then. This was before the above ground garage was moved underground and the land above it was reclaimed as Norman B. Leventhal Park. Norman B. Leventhal Park is worth visiting if you are ever in the area.
