Ach! Santa pay attention! Don’t be downcast in the crosswalk!

P.s., Speaking of Saint Nick, I’m watching the House Oversight & Accountability Committee and moments ago heard Rep. Lynch, MA-8, and it sounded like he wanted to increase USPS revenue by Hoovering and parasitizing citizens’ data- in full agreement with Postmaster DeJoy- taking meta data, tracking info for not only the USPS’s profit, but also for the profit of the private firms that customers/users of the USPS. This is not something I want my Party to help the USPS work towards. I want my data not to be collected in the first place, but when collected I want it protected and not exploited for profit. I thought this was a central plank.

It’s a great photo.

“Why is this a comment” is an interesting question.

My first comment is my impression of the of the photograph. It’s a great photo. It’s like the New Yorker photo caption contest.

My second comment is about Santa’s essential little helpers at the USPS. I don’t know if it’s worth a post of its own, but it’s local interest I was watching live on CSPAN and didn’t seem too tangental.

Is this about Santa or the vagaries of the postal service?

After getting his sleigh towed for parking on South Street during street cleaning day, Santa came back from the tow lot, only to be told that they're holding his sleigh for unpaid parking tickets. Hence, he has to go back to North Station to get back to the North Pole.
