Boston Police arresting an 18-year-old on charges he gunned down Quami Clarke, 19, in the Mildred Hailey Apartments in Jamaica Plain on Sept. 23.
Yesterday afternoon, the BPD fugitive unit, with help from police in Quincy, arrested Jason Douglas of Quincy on Tyler Street in Quincy. He was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, second offense, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and unlawful possession of ammunition, police say.
Not long after Clarke's shooting, another man, Edwin Vinales, was charged with helping dispose of a gun related to the murder - " "a semi-automatic firearm with an extended magazine, capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition" police said at the time.
Innocent, etc.
