Half-Naked Councilor

Who knows why Dave Wedge at the Herald decided to call up Councilor LaMattina's address on Google Maps, but the world is a richer place for it:
Dear Google: Your Street View addresses are still wacky. When I typed in LaMattina's address, and put Little Orange Guy right on the arrow, I still had to "drive" a couple doors down to find what Wedge found.
My $5 offer for a naked person on Google Street View still stands.

Google Addresses
Most addresses are only known by their 100's per block. For example, my own street only has 1-26 on it, but if you ask for 25, it put you at a quarter of the way down the street.
You can actually make any address more accurate with Google Maps now. If you are logged in and go to an address, inside the bubble should be an "Edit" link. If you are moving the arrow only a short distance, then it will let you move it without question and will record the last time the arrow was moved by someone. If you move it too far, it will save it as a request to be checked on by someone working with Google's Maps division for moves that seem like vandalism.
My work and home addresses are now very accurate and I know that some of the businesses in Kendall Square no longer point at the corner of Portland and Hampshire (technically where "1 Kendall Sq" is located) but actually point to the front door of the business within the shopping area itself. Very nice community editing touch for Google Maps, I think.
