Phoenix digs up a new music editor

Brodeur lost me for good the day he claimed that (1) Bebel Gilberto is Astrud Gilberto's daughter, and that (2) she sounds just like her "mom." Which, (1) no, and (2) er...no. It's easy 'n' fun to write wildly negative reviews -- hey, I'm not even a Bebel Gilberto fan myself, so what do I care? -- but the thing is, if you're gonna do that, you have to have your facts 100% correct, or you just look like an asshole.

Between this and the addition of that fucktard David Thorpe (whose whole schtick boils down to making hack jokes about easy targets, and not even being funny or clever about it), the Phoenix's music section is just about to suck as hard as the Dig's did for years.
