... I don't know, but this sort of strikes me indistinguishable from hanging around Harvard Yard wearing a Barnard* t-shirt.

If Medford is being overrun by displaced natives of Sheepshead Bay or Bensonhurst, then, yes, Mets caps would be more likely. But if it's just a bunch of locals attempting to be bad-ass, then a Yankees cap is the way to go.
