Dan Tobin was nice and didn't pour salt on the slug. Instead, he released it into the wild.

Probably not a good idea, since he might not be from the area, let alone the USA. Invasive species get a foothold from acts like this, and they become big problems.

(That is if this isn't lettuce from your garden)
