Of course he did. Charley on the MTA interviews our former governor and public-transportation backer:
Former Gov. Mike Dukakis arrived in Denver last night on an Amtrak train, along with two grandkids. "I played nineteen games of Candy Land on the train," Dukakis said. So it seemed natural to ask Dukakis about some train/transit issues. ...

I hope no one got a picture
I hope no one got a picture of him in a conductor's hat.
what?
That's what got Deval Patrick elected, a guy who'd never run for elected office, and he won by 21 percentage points.
What got Deval Patrick elected was selective views of his business background (ie, he didn't talk much about having been on Countrywide's board), work for the Clinton administration, liberal white guilt, and a whole lot of populist bullshit slung at liberals primed by the idiocy of the Romney administration.
Obama's not any different- and doing the same thing, promising everyone he'll buy them a pony if he's elected. Meanwhile, his stances on the war, domestic spying, etc are softening if not completely melted as he heads for the main election. The question is- what will be Obama's version of Patrick's various hidden gotchas, like the whole casino fiasco?
Speak for yourself
Liberal white guilt? Populist bullshit? Please. That'll only carry you so far in Massachusetts - you do realize we had like 16 years of Republican governors, right?
As for Obama, I don't think his gotchas are so hidden; anybody who watches Faux News reguarly has already gotten a decent look at the Rovian talking points for when we put away the white linen suits.
