Is there a possibility that if anyone is discovered to use their gas card illegally, that those individuals will be fired? We've had folks fired from my job for doing just that (and rightfully so).

State Police will take appropriate disciplinary action

What is the appropriate disciplinary action for petty theft <$1000, and grand larceny >$1000?

It's not exactly office paper clips, is it? And aren't these guys law enforcement officials and officers of the court?

Did they say "legal action" or "disciplinary action" because it seems to me legal action is required given their duty to uphold the law.

if they are caught.

But In MA there is larceny under $250 and over $250. the latter is a felony.

Thanks Pete. At $3.70 a gallon, you don't have to fill up the family car at the state police barracks too many times before you've committed felony grand larceny.
