How's the Milner?

Living in a tourist town, you rarely get to stay in the local hotels. So when somebody writes you for a recommendation, what do you do? Specifically, somebody who's planning a Boston visit asked me how the Milner is. I have no idea. Have any of you folks stayed there? Family suitable? Thanks!

"It ain't the motel six"
I think it depends on what you consider a 'good hotel.' My aunt and uncle used to stay there when they'd visit me and they liked it well enough. It's relatively cheap, convenient, kind of quirky and old-fashioned in a tin-pan-alley kind of way. It certainly does not have the amenities of a Marriott, though. Personally - I go for these sorts of places (as do most of my family who tend to be thrifty and not easily scared by "urban drama.") but it may not be for everyone. I'd suggest that you go pay a visit and judge for yourself.
