I am a JP resident and patron of the Sedgwick Street branch in particular. No. 1. Wow. Unless it's all picture books that are being checked out.
Let's just hope it doesn't go to their heads

I'd hate to think of Friends of the JP Branch Library standing outside other branches taunting people and scribbling "JP Branch RULEZ 4EVA!" in marker on their front doors.
hmph!

I wish I could celebrate this, but I am a partisan of JP's other branch library, the Connelly. Guess I'd better go pick up some more books and show those Southern JP people what Hyde Square is about.
i wonder where the connolly

i wonder where the connolly ranks, and if they combined JP library forces approach the numbers for the main branch.
It would also be interesting to see the numbers crossed with square footage, as the main jp branch (both, really) are ridiculously undersized

Does anyone know of a website that lists all branches by rank?

I don't know about a list ranked by circulation, but this list from FY07 ranks the branches by number of visitors.
Here's one that gives circulation numbers

Oops, I spoke too soon... there is indeed a list that has circulation numbers here. You might have to scroll down a few pages to get to the "items circulated" column.
Thanks!
