If Sam Yoon makes a mistake, is that a Yoopsie?

EMTs haven't endorsed Yoon, or anybody else, despite what a Yoon mailing says.

Dear Secretary Galvin,

No reply.
Please prevail upon The Honorable Boston City Council President Michael P. Ross at http://www.cityofboston.gov/contact/?id=20 to provide public access instead of the deflecting, the delay, the denial of reply to public requests to read the stenographic machine records of the last public meeting of our Boston City Council...

In a previous gaffe, Yoon claimed he was sticking to his job as councilor even as invitations to a September fund-raiser held in Menlo Park, Calif., read: “Please join us for a cocktail reception to support Sam Yoon in his quest to become the first Asian-American Mayor of Boston.”

Menlo Park? Is that in Allston or Brighton? I always get it confused.

I love how the universal hub, since its inception, has spent all its energy discussing these irrelevant issues in this city. We have real problems in Boston: rampant rising crime rates, a disastrous school system, rising poverty rates, lagging city services, and absolutely no leadership from the Mayors office.
Menino has turned Boston into a national laughing stock...and he wants another term. What a joke.

Instead, lets talk about the things that really matter: Yoon's out of state fundraisers, Flaherty's video gaff, and an appearance by Tom and Gisele! Opium for everyone!

Could you show me the stats on that? The monthly stats from BPD have shown decreasing crime rates over at least the past two years. We're no Baltimore or Detroit (thankfully!).

As for the other issues, perhaps you have a point, or perhaps you're just so irritated by posts on Flaherty's choice in mixers that you've missed the posts on those other issues. So a suggestion: Get an account (they're free) and start discussing.

Awesome. Can you point me to where he said he was running for another term? Can you direct towards why I should care what a candidate says today when we have no idea what the next 6 months are going to shape up like at all given that large items such as the federal stimulus package distribution are not yet solidified? Can you demonstrate that any of the aforementioned ills that you complain about are occuring in Boston at any worse a rate than equivalent cities in the U.S. under the current economic climate? Can you point to a single editorial or essay of any importance that declares Boston to be a "national laughing stock" (sic).

Can you tell me what gaff Flaherty had? Can you explain why Yoon's California fundraising is a triviality when discussing a local city election?

Can you get me pictures from the Tom and Gisele sighting? I totally missed it when it happened, thanks.
