Case against gang violence made to gangs

In a creative attempt to stem gang violence, yesterday local law enforcement officials gathered 50 purported members of 17 gangs into West Roxbury District Court, for a series of presentations, the Globe reports.

What a ridiculous idea! They are only encouraging them to take themselves seriously as "urban guerillas" or some such nonsense. Throw them in jail, don't lead them to believe that we are taking their play-acting seriously by holding moronic little gangster summits and cake parties.
