Wicked pissed

I have "Slang O' The Day" as a panel on my iGoogle page. What to my wondering eyes should appear this morning as the first of three entries ? "Wicked pissa." I nearly gagged on my French Toast when I read the entry:
"Origin: American Slang (Boston)
Definition: very funny
Example: Hey Franky, that movie was wicked pissa!"

I believe it's "Wicked Pissah" with an H ... at least, that's what my roller derby team says.

That slang was submitted to me by a reader, so if you have an issue with their definition, then you would have to take it up with them. Oh, and by the way, I don't remember giving you permission to reprint my copyrighted content.

Coupla things

First, "pissa" (or "pissah") means "cool," not "funny" (see definition). Only in the context of a comedy would "pissa" mean "funny" ("Man, I love 'Airplane,' it's so wicked pissa," but even then, the person would more likely call it "wicked funny").

Second, it's kind of hard to take something up with somebody when you don't know who they are. I notice you don't credit whoever sent you that.

Third, you have a very nice, professional looking site, so I'm sure you've heard of the concept of "fair use." The original poster here wasn't reprinting that entry to rip you off but to make a comment about it.

it sort of implies that you would like people to share this info.

the original poster gave your URL credit, didn't just rip you off.

perhaps you might want to put a stern disclosure on your website that all of your content is protected and you would like it *not* to be shared.

otherwise you might have to understand why people would feel free to do otherwise.

I believe that is "wicked pisser". I mean, I would pronounce it "wikud pissah", but one who pisses is a pisser, hence that would be wicked pisser.

An example of the phrase in a sentence- That was a wicked pisser party me and Sully were at over in Somerville, up over by Arlington, before the frigging cops came by and started acting like goobers.
