Police in Gardner report a man wrapped in gauze walked up to the counter at a Citizens branch inside a Stop & Shop on June 23 and handed the teller a note:

Note was not readable, teller stated she could not read and suspect demanded cash. Suspect fled to rear of plaza and store manager could hear a motor vehicle fleeing but could not get visual on car.
