Standing in the snow, waiting for ice cream

Alison reports that after four years in the Boston area, she's becoming acclimated - after dinner tonight, she and the family went out for ice cream at a Bedford ice-cream stand, even though it was snowing:

... Heck - the calendar says it's spring, dammit! That means ice cream at an outdoor stand! We joined several others who stood patiently, literally shivering while waiting for our orders to be filled.
