why should you get a discount?
I am a stop and shop employee who works at the self scan registers. I hear about 5 times daily from the customers..."why don't we get discounts for doing this?" here's my question...why should you?
Most people like the self scan, they are faster than regular registers. They are saving you time by not having to go to a regular check out line. Mothers with small children love them because they keep the kids occupied by helping. Boo-hoo, you guys have to scan and bag your items yourself. if you don't want to do it then go to a regular line. I mean is it really that hard to bag your items? Why should you get a discount for this? I would love to hear your responses on this.
One more thing no one forces you to go through self checkout...if you don't like them don't use them!!!
