Police: Man grabbed woman's butt at Forest Hills, then offered her money to stop cursing him out
MBTA Transit Police report arresting a Jamaica Plain man on indecent assault and battery charges for an alleged attack at the Forest Hills busway on Saturday.
According to a police report, a 21-year-old woman was waiting for the 16 bus with her cousin when Gary Maggiacomo came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks.
The victim said she turnd around and yelled, "Why did you grab me?" The victim said Maggiacomo said, "I didn't touch you, I was talking to my friend." [The victim] then began to curse at Maggiacomo. At this time Maggiacomo offered the victim an unknown amount of US currency to stop yelling at him. The victim refused the money and Maggiacomo ran across Hyde Park Avenue.
When officers arrived, they quickly found Maggiacomo in the parking lot behind the Forest Hills Diner - where, police say, he attempted to evade detection by turning his T-shirt inside out.
Maggiacomo was arrested after the victim, driven across the street to the parking lot, immediately identified him despite his apparent change of top. Police then discovered he was wanted on three warrants for unrelated offenses. His shirt was seized as evidence.
Maggiacomo was arraigned today in Boston Medical Center after he complained of chest pains. Bail was set at $1,000, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Innocent, etc.

Here's to the
Brave victim not being silent and outing the creep!
Yeah, she's awesome
I'm sure it was a scary situation, but I kind of wish I'd been there to see him run away.
Ditto that
I also want to say Bravo to the woman who reported this jerk.
