why is this fool on the radio?
No it's not common sense. It's something you expect coming out of the mouth of a 3 year old. Even then you can explain the idea of sharing and "how would you feel" to a 3 year old. I really doubt this turd-nugget has ever thought about anyone or anything else other than his own immediate gratification. As someone said in the comments section of the linked site, being offensively obnoxious can be funny if you have a good sense of humor, but this isn't funny. George Carlin managed to do an entire routine on joking about unfunny things, like cancer. And it was funny, because George Carlin was smart and funny. Graham is simply unfunny, unappealing, unoriginal and a waste of airwaves.

I have real low standards when it comes to talk radio, and even I find this guy unlistenable.
Gee, what can I gin up for a topic to talk about today? Well, let me find a lunatic lefty outlier from Deval or Move-On. And then I'll set it up as a straw man for all of the left. And then I'll beat it over and over and over, hoping that my audience turns over every fifteen minutes. Or has an attention span that's even shorter than mine...
Somewhere, in a three-tooth per person southern state, a village is missing it's idiot. And we got him.
Why anyone listens to this fool is beyond me..
I listen to a lot of talk radio behind the wheel. I like Smerconish and John Batchelor mainly because they treat their listeners with respect and dignity. I also listen to Rush and Hannity because I believe one should listen to some people whose beliefs you oppose because it always helps in any debate to know what the other side is thinking.
Graham, on the other hand, is unlistenable. He is a moron, plain and simple. He was brought on when Jimmy Severino's ego led him to believe (incorrectly) that there was a nationwide audience for his sophomoric antics and it only took TKK about 15 minutes to figure out why Graham had been fired from most of his previous radio gigs; he's a bigoted moron and he sucks.
One only has to listen to the insufferable way he pronounces his own name at the beginning of his show to know that we're in for hours of moronic diatribes about how the Tea Party is misunderstood, Deval Patrick is the evil overlord and the Registry of Motor Vehicles really owns those black helicopters that follow him around. If you ever manage to slip him up and back him into a corner of inescapable logic, he just hangs up on you. He is not interested in what you have to say, he's only interested when you tell him how right he is.
A failed stand up comedy career, failed marriages, and now a clean up boy for Jimmy Severino. How does he look himself in the mirror in the morning? Oh,yes, he needs to adjust that horrible rug on his head.
Talk radio . . .
. . . makes people dumber and actually less informed than if they had never listened to it. It is just one false narrative after another. And if you listen to "see what the other side has to say" you are not listening to any "side" that has any deep real support. You are just pointlessly enraging yourself against the false straw man narratives they set up to swat down. Turn it off.
And by the way- establishment owners- if I walk into your place of business and I hear talk radio- I don't care the host or the show- I won't be coming back as a return customer.

No rule that says you have to like talk radio on NPR, but your critique doesn't seem to fit. If you called NPR talk "boring" or "pompous," for instance, I'd disagree, but at least I'd understand where you were coming from.
They push . . .
. . . the same false narritives as the rest- but just absent overt bigotry and hate- nerve tonic for sellout progressives who can't face what the federal government has become.

I actually like this guy, from the few times I've been in the car after 10PM and stumbled across this show. The first time I heard Batchelor I thought "oh boy, what a pseudo-intellectual from the tone of his voice. But I like how he talks about world issues, global economics..you know, stuff hardly anyone talks about. I dont' even know his ideological stance and couldn't determine from the brief bits I've heard from him. I haven't heard him take phone calls either, which is a major plus in my book.
Either way, nobody will ever replace the deceased David Brudnoy. He was the greatest, and most unique.

... that the same losers who constantly whine about persons with disabilities getting aid from the state or federal governments are the first to deny those same people a chance to actually work for a living?
I guess he just wasn't feeling sufficiently special for being white and male and able that day.

He sees and loves something that other people do well and turns it into something completely miserable when he attempts it himself.
Listening to Michael Graham trying to ape Hannity or Rush is like listening to Baby Boch ape Brad Delp while playing a Boston song. It doesn't matter who you surround him with, it's still going to sound hacky, forced and uncomfortable.
Might I suggest a swap? Let Ernie fulfill his second-tier classic rock dream and become a right-wing pundit a la Ted Nugent while Graham teams with former members of RTZ, Bang Camaro, Belly and some guy who subbed in on drums during a Cars concert in 1988 to play his favorite BCN playlists from college. It can't be much worse that what we have now.

@Mr.Hennessey, I agree with everything except including Belly in the list of marginal bands. Tanya Donelly was nominated for a Grammy (and should have won) for Christsakes! Boch Jr., not so much. Back on topic, kudos to Dan Kennedy for his advocacy for Little People. I disagree with most of his politics but not this. Graham should apologize and invite Kennedy and his daughter on his program. Graham might learn a few things.
