That photo is amazing
She could totally sell that.
Right?
It would make such a great postcard and poster!
It's a glorified median
It's a glorified median strip.
People keep saying that...
yet they keep eating lunch on it, sunbathing on it, walking through it and sitting out talking on it. Hard to come up with another median strip (other than, perhaps, the Broadway Malls on New York's Upper West Side) that's so beloved and so well-trod during the warm months. The new Harbor Islands stand only helps matters.
I think every developer in the city has an intern in the comments field dropping that "median strip" line. Yet the blueshirts, tourists and everyone else keep flocking to it. Sorry guys, guess you'll have to make do with those North End parcels. Enjoy blocking the Zakim view.
agree, it's very popular all around with few exceptions
I know plenty of suburbanite right-wingers who despise the Kennedy family, but when we walk the Greenway and particularly by this fountain and the misting sculpture they absolutely love it and bite their tongues. Most of the Greenway is popular with locals and tourists alike. Best thing Boston has done in a long time.
I think all days are 24 hrs.
I think all days are 24 hrs.
But...
Are all nights 24 hours?
Except in Boston
Where "nothing good ever happens after 8:00 p.m."
