The accidental photographer

Mats Tolander seems to be making a hobby of photographing the aftermath of accidents at Charlesgate and Comm. Ave. Of which there are apparently many from which to choose.

i hate it when people just step out into the crosswalk and expect you to slam on the brakes.if you dont, you get this dirty look as if you are the biggest jerk coming down the pike.then there is always the #@%hole that just walks out and never even acknowleges you stopping to let them pass. this is when i usually lean on my horn, scare the crap out of them, and yell "YOU"RE WELCOME". one day this rather large woman and her 5-6 year old stepped right out between two parked cars and i had to skid to stop.she never even looked at me (because she knew she was ignorant to step out like that) so i let her pass and she never makes eye contact but the kid is staring at me.so i say, to the kid, "hey buddy your mom is fat and rude". you know that kid is never going to forget the guy that told him his mom was fat and rude.maybe he didnt realize this before but you know he realizes it now. i hate pedestrians too.

i just realized that i posted my reply to the wrong thread.it was supposed to be a comment on the post following this one about crosswalks in watertown but i must have clicked the wrong link.sorry about that.now as far as the "dumbass" comment, "coming down the pike" is a term used like "passing through" i know there are no crosswalks on the pike but i also know there are assholes on this website, like you.

You'd have looked like just as big an idiot even if you'd posted to the right thread.

I'm familiar with the expression, and your use of the expression is not why I think you're an idiot.

I think we know where everybody stands. Any chance of counting to 100 first?

I know what the expression means. That wasn't my point.

FYI, it's definitely used in places outside of Boston, but I'm guessing that you haven't ventured outside of your neighborhood enough to know such things.
