Report from that blogger 'summit'

Only it seemed to feature at most three actual bloggers. In any case, Mike Mennonno went to BostonNOW's event the other day and files a pretty comprehensive report and analysis - in which he questions whether the whole blogger/media thing will work as print editors want it to work, in part because the paper won't use any content from sites that are "biased," which might seem to rule out pretty much every blog.
Disclaimer: Obviously, Universal Hub aggregates blog content, too, although not in whole and we've never promised you a rose garden, let alone a cut of our massive revenues. Oh yeah, and the whole Globe thing.

This is my surprised face
Ah - capturing the lightning in a bottle of blogging. Good luck with that. You know, another local newspaper does it in one of their inserts. I've even been lucky enough to have been featured a few times. I've never seen a blip increase in traffic. That only really comes from UH.
Well, there was the one time I was getting a lot of traffic from some porn aggregator. But that was creepy.
That's what you get for being consistent and prolific, if not an especially good writer.
