The Boston Licensing Board decides tomorrow whether to let the Roslindale Market, 4140 Washington St. (across from Healy Field) start serving takeout food.
Carolyn Conway, the store's attorney, said owner Rafaela Pegero plans to sell "traditional Spanish" food, such as rice and beans and fried pork, as well as sandwiches.
The mayor's office and the offices of City Councilors Michelle Wu, Steve Murphy, Ayanna Pressley and Michael Flaherty supported the proposal at a hearing this morning. Nobody spoke in opposition.
