Any idea where this is?
I can't think of any part of either Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, or Memorial Drive with a single lane next to a double-yellow line.
My thoughts
One of the feeder sections, like Nonantum near the boat launch/softball field, or Greenough Blvd. But Street View in sections of those don't give me the yeah-this-is-it feeling.
looks like
Nonantum, they recently put those weird streetlights there. Not sure Storrowing would be reason for a stop there, there are no height signs and small trucks like that are allowed to use that road methinks.
Looks like Nonantum Road.
Looks like Nonantum Road. The guardrails are that color.
does that road have low bridges?
or is this just a precuationary stop to tell the driver, "You'd better exit before you get to Market Street" ?
The whole thing is signed as
The whole thing is signed as "No trucks or buses," but you could make it as far as Birmingham Parkway/Market Street before it would be a problem. If it is indeed Nonantum, this truck looks like it's probably heading either to Watertown Square or the Pike via Charlesbank. I could be wrong, but that looks like the river side is on the right.
Ruining the fun
Half the reason I go on UHub is to check for the latest trucks-that-failed-at-limbo-on-storrow photos/videos.
So ...
who won the pool?
Funny, but I haven't heard about any storrowings last weekend ...
Yes, well,
The 1st is tomorrow.
Don't you mean
Don't you mean "what happens in a sardine can today"?
Proactive traffic enforcement not just to raise revenue?
Color me impressed!
Yes that is Nonantum.
Yes that is Nonantum.
