Stabbing suspect escapes police from third-story window in Roslindale

UPDATE: Police say he shimmied down a garden hose, rather than jumped.
A man wanted for a stabbing on Friday who was holed up with his family in a third-floor apartment in Roslindale's Archdale escaped police by jumping out his third-floor window last night, WCVB reports.

Among other reasons why eviction is unlikely (housing court being tenant-friendly, case law, burden of proof, blah, blah, blah...) there are people in high ranking positions at the BHA who dislike evicting people because it "creates homelessness".
