Jury convicts boyfriend of killing Baby Bella

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Michael McCarthy of second-degree murder for the death of Bella Bond in 2015, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
The verdict means a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 15 years. Bella's mother, Rachelle Bond, has already pleaded guilty to her role in hiding the way McCarthy disposed of her body - by tossing it in Boston Harbor - and will likely be sentenced tomorrow to the time she's already served, the DA's office reports. Bond testified against McCarthy.

Bella deserved better. I pray there is a heaven for angels like Bella and I hope Satan finds a special spot for these two.
Purgatory
We need some space in purgatory for all the people who took short cuts with records, didn't bother to do their jobs, and made bad decisions that resulted with Bella living with these two monsters ... and their supervisors.
I see children on a daily
I see children on a daily basis with strung out parents and it breaks my heart. Calling 911 does nothing. We must do more as a society for these kids that are neglected and maybe worse. Newborns with mothers that are dozing off on street corners and toddlers being pulled up and down meth mile by parents too high to function. How is this all ok and acceptable?
Two effed up, unstable, immature druggies
And I have nothing nice to say about state child services, either; the scandals that come of of child services across the country, not just MA, are numbing.
