Roslindale man charged with Mattapan shooting in July

Boston Police report arresting Eric Hines, 25, of Roslindale, on charges he shot a man sitting on his porch on Baird Street in Mattapan shortly before 8:30 p.m. on July 13.

The victim survived his injuries, police say.

Hines was arrested Thursday night in the area of Parkman Drive in Jamaica Plain, on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm, police say.
