But seriously, the wiki is surprisingly vague on this. Is it towed during turnaround? Was a combustion-engine installed at some point? Do ships like this still get wind thrust due to their bulk (even if sails aren't unfurled)? So many questions.

She is being towed whenever she leaves dock, including for turnaround, you can find photos online. The one exception was 1997, the ship's bicentennial, she was towed to Marblehead then 5 miles offshore, sailed on her own power for 40 minutes, then was towed back to Boston Harbor.
