Richard Cherecwich writes that's how late he was to work due to the accident - and that after he followed other motorists and drove across the grass to the I-93 ramp.
I was stuck in this traffic, all the way on the expressway, for hours. Pure hell. Then I had to do it all over again on the way home. Matters were worsened by my car's lack of air conditioning.
My commute from Southborough to Roslindale via the turnpike east and 128 south was unusually good today; probably because the Weston interchange wasn't gummed up like it normally is with people heading north on 128 (although 128 south was also wide open; that I can't figure out, unless folks who got stuck in the morning decided to take another way home).

Pure misery

Turnpike and 128
Ugh, that sounds awful!
