Don't you just hate it when you're right in the middle of something and the fire alarms go off?

CarCarll captured the scene outside the Park Plaza around 11:30 a.m., when fire alarms went off, forcing the evacuation of guests and attendees at the annual Anthro New England furry convention.

Adorable!
Careful, Elmer
you might be sending signals you're not intending to a crowd like that.
Uh ...
I suspect that Elmer is well versed in sending whatever subcultural signals that he intends to.
Adorable!
Small correction?
Isn't elmer a she?
I thought elmer was her cat (dearly departed?)
Adorable!
( but wrong )
All? Part?
Or do you just wish to remain an adorable enigma? :-)
As I've Explained Before, Elmer Had Markings Of A Holstein Cow
But he was a male cat, so I named him after the husband of Elsie, the Borden cow. I am a different species, but we share the same gender.
( I've posted own my picture at least once )
Enigma no more
But always adorable.
Thanks for the clarification.

Neither do I. But I also don
Neither do I. But I also don't get the fun of watching a bunch of people in matching uniform carry a football around, or of dressing in complicated white and black clothing and eating tiny pieces of food from trays. And it certainly confuses me to watch people enjoy drinking beverages that dull their senses, reflexes, and cognition.
Different people have very, very different interests.
Wow, as much as I hate
Wow, as much as I hate professional sports all those things sound fun. Dressing in black and white while eating food is also fun. I’m sorry you are confused and are missing out on many of life’s weird, subtle perks.
He didn't say that it was wrong or bad
He didn't say that you shouldn't enjoy it.
He just doesn't get it.
Exactly!
It's fine if people enjoy these things! I described them weirdly, using an outside perspective, because that's how people see furry conventions: People dressing up weird and acting weird. They don't actually have internal experience of it.
I've not been to a furry convention either, but I assume it's all about the same kind of camaraderie and shared culture that you get with any of those other things -- not the external trappings.
Tim, could you tell us a
Tim, could you tell us a story about a bridge.
A while back there was a story...
...about some woman that took her dog to a furry convention. Apparently the dog was a huge hit with the furries. She was the toast of the convention. She just made a bit of a wrong assumption about what a furry was. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/dog-goes-to-furry-convention_us_58e...
Did anyone ask?
To each their own, and far be it from you to judge, but you needed to tell us all that you find it weird.
Skull masks
Those skull masks are awesome!

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.

Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?
