As the thunder continues to rumble over UHub's secret mountain lair along the Roslindale/Hyde Park frontier, it's gotten much cooler.

Jacob Long at WFXT, though, reports a side effect of the front: Canceled flights at Logan:

Literally on the runway on @AmericanAir trying to get out of @BostonLogan for a funeral but captain just aborted take off, informing us they’ve shut down departures due to weather.

American Airlines replied:

We'll get you back on the way to the skies just as soon as the weather passes on by.

This terrible, hot weather is ending just in time for the weekend. Tomorrow morning I plan on getting outside and spinning around with a huge smile on my face like the opening scene in The Sound of Music.

Isn't that that movie where a family of illegal migrants terrorizes government workers just doing their jobs?

It's about a family that flees a country to escape fascism because they know it's wrong.
