Two-alarm fire at Harvard Square restaurant

The Cambridge Fire Department reports a two-alarm fire erupted shortly after 10 a.m. at Toscano, 52 Brattle St.

By 10:45 a.m., the fire, which started on the first floor and then spread upstairs, had been knocked down.

In addition to Cambridge firefighters, Somerville trucks also responded.
