Liz Breadon and Craig Cashman, running for the District 9 council seat being vacated by Mark Ciommo, are scheduled to meet in a candidates forum at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at WGBH, 15 Guest St.
The forum is sponsored by the Brighton Allston Improvement Association, the Allston and Brighton boards of trade and the Ward 21 and Ward 22 Democratic committees.
In the at-large race, incumbent Michelle Wu is topping the field, by a lot, followed by fellow incumbents Michael Flaherty and Annissa Essaibi-George. Read more.
On Tuesday, Boston voters will narrow the field for candidates for at-large candidates and for candidates in several districts.
Voters can choose up to four at-large candidates, and will narrow the current field of 15 to 8 for the November final election. In District 5 (Roslindale, Mattapan, Hyde Park), District 7 (Roxbury), District 8 (Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Fenway, Mission Hill) and District 9 (Allston/Brighton), voters will narrow the field to two candidates for November.
