You can sell them at Brookline Booksmith or Harvard Square Bookstore, and Boomerangs in JP accepts books as donations, as do most GoodWills --there's a bunch of them around Boston.

You can just put them in a bag labeled "City-Wide Friends Book Sale Donation" and drop them off at one of the check-out desks in the BPL; see http://www.citywidefriendsbpl.org/sample-page/book-donations/ . I use this method regularly.

If you want to buy Steve's books, their next sale is October 3, 2015. 10 AM to 4 PM in the Cushman Room of the BPL (Central Library - 3rd Floor - McKim Building). And they can take donations at the sale.

Women's Lunch Place on Newbury and Berkeley, at Church of the Covenant. They have a reading room and books are always welcome.
