MassDevelopment reports it's issued a $21.8-million tax-exempt bond to help finance B'nai B'rith Housing of New England's 63-unit apartment building for people over 55 at 1201 River St. in Hyde Park, where Dempsey's used to be. Read more.

Teen shot on Milton/Mattapan line

State Police report a 16-year-old was shot on a bike path behind Ryan Playground at River Street and Central Avenue around 5:20 p.m.

State Police say the teen was taken to a local hospital and that he is expected to recover.

State Police assumed jurisdiction because the bike path is on DCR land.
