The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 15 Hudson St. for a fire that started in Great Barbecue and spread to the roof of the three-story building. Read more.

The Zoning Board of Appeal today approved plans to replace a vacant lot at 12-12A Hudson St. with a new six-story building that would have a two-level restaurant and four one-bedroom apartments above it. Read more.

The Asian Community Development Corp. says it will soon file detailed plans for a 12-story building with 66 moderate-income apartments, 44 income-restricted condos and a two-floor BPL branch, on what is now a BPDA-owned parking lot bordered by Tyler and Hudson streets between Kneeland and Harvard streets in Chinatown. Boston Police report arresting Edwin Ramirez, 40, for a rape on Hudson Street early Sunday morning. He was formally charged with aggravated rape and robbery, police say.

Boston Police report finding a man, in his 20s, shot at 66 Hudson St. around 2:35 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
