A Randolph man faces a variety of charges after he allegedly ran a woman down outside North Station early this morning, while a couple of his pals face charges that they made asses of themselves at the scene and then again at the police station, where they were arrested after allegedly chest bumping cops and challenging them to a fight, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Two people who traveled from Holyoke say somebody slipped something into their drinks during a pre-Halloween celebration at West End Johnnie's on Portland Street last October but was unable to take advantage of their blacked-out state because they were with friends. Read more.

Live Boston reports a brawl erupted on Portland Street near the Garden shortly after the bars closed this morning. By the time it was over, police were swarming the area and one person was being transported to nearby Mass. General with serious injuries.

A man who came under attack by a group of other men outside West End Johnnies, 138 Portland St., was thrown through a bar window into the bar shortly before 2 a.m. on Jan. 28, a Boston Police detective and the bar's attorney said today. Read more.

Boston Police report a man, 36, was found stabbed outside 205 Portland St. around 7 p.m. Nearby officers - recent graduates of the BPD academy - quickly applied a tourniquet to his upper leg to keep him from bleeding out before EMTs could arrive, police say.

On April 10, a man was stabbed to death on Causeway Street.

The guy was just not doing well at West End Johnnies on Super Bowl Sunday: The Patriots had lost, the bar wanted him to leave because he'd had too much to drink and then the cops showed up when he refused to leave. Read more.
