The Supreme Judicial Court today ordered a new trial for Anthony Robertson, convicted of fatally shooting Aaron Wornum in the head on Sumner Street in Dorchester on June 26, 2011, because the judge in the case failed to adequately consider whether the prosecution's rejection of two prospective jurors might have been racially biased. Anthony Robertson, 20, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today on charges he murdered Aaron Wornum on Sumner Street in Dorchester on June 26.

Assistant District Attorney David Fredette said the two knew each other and that, in fact, the two were talking to each other on their cell phones when Robertson opened fire around 9 p.m. and shot Wornum several times.

Updated Monday afternoon.

Boston Police report a man was shot repeatedly around 9:20 p.m. outside 4 Sumner St. He was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
