Victim identified as Karim Blount, 42, of Mattapan. He leaves four children. Friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help his family.
Boston Police report a man in his 40s was shot at 18 Mildred Ave. around 2:30 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
