Organizers of the Egleston Square farmers market announced today that, after eight years, it has shut for good. No reason given.

Roslindale Village Main Street says a forecast that includes gusts up to 45 m.p.h. means Adams Park would be fit for neither man nor beast - nor vendors' tents - tomorrow.

Also canceled: The Dia de los Muertos party at the Roslindale BPL branch.
