The Boston Fire Department reports that around 4:45 p.m., firefighters and EMTs responded to Scarboro Pond in Franklin Park to rescue a dog that had fallen through the ice - and her owner, who did the same trying to rescue her pet but who managed to make her way to one of the islands in the pond.
