Roving UHub photography Molly Lanzarotta took in the Boston Landmarks Orchestra's final show of the season at the Hatch Shell this evening - under clouds that looked ominous but otherwise behaved.
Ron Newman this morning visited the Esplanade, which, in the Before Times, would have already been completely jammed with people awaiting the night's concert and fireworks.
WFNX got Snapple to sponsor the concert - and they gave out thousands of bottles of juice. Glass bottles. As one reporter concluded: "Small mobs of punk rock fans roaming Boston's Back Bay looking for action."

State Police are investigating how the body of an older white male came to be by the Hatch Shell early this morning, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
