Police responded to Pierce Street, between Walter and West streets on a report of gunfire around 9:50 p.m. They found spent shells and at least one car hit. Live Boston reports police found at least 50 spent shells.

Spotted this morning at the corner of Pierce and Walter streets. Yes, the person who reported it called police and animal control - after trying to calm down her young daughter. Read more.
