Boston firefighters responded to 97 Paine St. in Roslindale for a fire around 5 p.m.
The Boston Fire Department reports the fire, which started in the attic, caused no injuries, but says two adults and four children were displaced.

Victim identified as Aderito Barbosa, 35, of Dorchester.
A man was fatally shot around 10:35 p.m. at 35 Paine St. in Roslindale, behind the Haley School and a couple blocks away from the spot on American Legion Highway where two men were shot, one fatally, on Thursday. Read more.
